Mortgage Bankers Newslink writes: The net lease sector saw "widespread" cap rate compression over the course of 2012, reported Calkain Companies and Chandan Economics. The report said triple-net retail properties registered lower cap rates across all major categories of tenants. “The causes for this compression include lack of product, ease in financing and low interest rates,” said Winston Orzechowski, research director with Calkain Companies.
